Jennifer is a graduate of the MFA Design programme at the University of Alberta, with Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice as her thesis production.

Born in Halifax, but raised in Lahr, Germany, and Ottawa, Jennifer also holds a BA (Honours) in mathematics and economics from Queen’s University and a BFA in theatre design from Concordia University. Her theatre training includes assistantships at the Banff Centre and the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

Jennifer’s theatre design work has been seen in New York and across Canada in Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Montreal, Toronto, and Kingston, as well as overseas in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. In 2008 Jennifer was the recipient of a Montreal English Critics Circle Award (MECCA) for best set design for 7 Stories (Tableau d’Hôte).

Jennifer currently resides in Stratford, Ontario. She is a member of the Associated Designers of Canada.
